[18F]MNI-444 is a PET radiotracer developed for imaging adenosine 2A receptors (A2A) in the human brain. After intravenous administration, it rapidly enters the brain and displays a distribution consistent with known A2A receptor densities. The radiotracer shows high binding potentials ranging from 2.6 to 4.9 in A2A-rich regions, with excellent test-retest reproducibility (less than 10% variability). [18F]MNI-444 is primarily eliminated via the hepatobiliary system, with less than 7% of the injected dose excreted in urine over a 6-hour period. The estimated whole-body radiation effective dose is approximately 0.023 mSv/MBq.
